Ingredients List For Making The Macaroni
- 2 cups macaroni
- 2 tablespoons oil or butter
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
- 3-4 green chilies, finely chopped
- 2-3 garlic, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 cup tomato ketchup or 2 tablespoons tomato puree
- Fresh coriander leaves, chopped (for garnish)
Method For Prepare The Macaroni
- Cook the Macaroni:
- Bring a large pot of salted & oil water to a boil.
- Add the macaroni and cook according to the package directions until al dente.
- Drain and set aside.
- Prepare the Masala Base:
- Heat the oil or butter in a large pan or kadhai over medium heat.
- Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds until aromatic.
- Then Add chopped garlic and green chilies
- sauté until golden brown.
- After that onion sauté for another minute
- until the raw smell disappears.
