Ingredients list for street style samosa
- Maida- 2 cup(250 grm)
- Ghee or oil – 1/4 cup
- Salt according to taste
- 1/4 tablespoon of carom seeds (ajwain)
- Potato – 350grm (medium size)
- 2-3 green chilli fine chopped
- 1 nch ginger grate properly
- 1 tablespoon coriander powder
- 1/4 tablespoon garam masala powder
- 1/2 dried mango powder
- 2 tablespoon coriander leaves
- To deep fry oil
Method for Street style aloo samosa
- Take maida in a parat. Add carom seed (ajwain) ,salt and mix well .
- Add 1/4 tablespoon ghee or refined and mix well. Add 1 cup water and knead to stiff dough.
- Cover with mosit cloth and set aside for 15-20 minutes.
- Boiled , peeled & mashed the potatos add chopped green chillis .
- Add grated ginger ,
- Add coriander powder
- Add garam masala powder
- Add dried mango powder
- Add salt according to taste
- Add coriander leaves.
- Then mix well all the ingredients.
- Divide the dough into equal portions and shape each in to a ball.
- For making samosa. Roll the prepared balls in an oblong and cut in half to make a semi- circle.
- Take a semi circle and apply water on edges, shape in to a cone. Stuff with a portion of the prepared stuffing and press the edges to seal.
- Heat sufficient oil in kadai deep fry the prepared samosa on medium heat till golden brown and crisp ,on an absorbent paper
- Served hot with fried green chilli & green chutney.
